MyBlueHeaven
Mine were painted on when I bought it, I had to have the paint scanned to find the code. This is what the scanner came up with, Ford Color- Silver Frost, Ford paint code-TS. I recently had the stripes added to my GT500 spoiler I just intalled and it was a perfect match so I know the code was right. I also have the silver pit stripes from farmdog and they match almost perfectly to the stripe color.

Don JDWHSKY Theall 25695
Had the silver stripes painted on my 2007 SGT 4 months ago and I am glad I did it. The body shop did a paint scan on the lower panel stripes and matched the new over the car stripes perfect. I would suggest this route verses a specific color. Paint scan match is the only way to go. Good Luck ..... Don
UK PONY
I had the stripes on my CS painted on from a scan of the vinyl stripe - after the inevitable stone chip happened I found that Satin Silver (TL) was a perfect match. I did try Silver Frost (TS) that's mentioned above but found it a hair too light.

I had my stripes repainted by a local shop that matched the paint spot on. I had the shop run the stripes straight down the back which cannot be done with tape. He gave me the paint code and said that any paint shop can use the attached info in case I need work done in the future. Have your shop mix up the color for you and see if it works for you. Still trying to figure out how to attach pictures like all you experts... Here is the back end of the car. I had the shop run the stripes straight down which cannot be done with tape. SGT0767
Different? How so? Having the car out in the dark? I noticed a difference as well but couldn't quite put my finger on it. After checking a couple other photos, I think the difference is primarily that the license plate cavity is painted the stripe color rather than being black line on a taped car. Either way, your car looks great. Makes me want to get ours painted as well. Maybe when if there is time before the Carlisle event in June, we might make the plunge. cobradad
Thanks, I thought it ended up looking better than having the shop try to copy the taped on stripe pattern. It was actually my wife's idea so she gets all the credit. One of those "why don't you just have them..." Then hit yourself on the head and say "duh....". After going through 2 sets of taped stripes this is so much better piece of mind.
