BIKEBOY
I admittedly don't watch much television, but I was just thinking about the Kit car today. That seemed to make a huge splash about a year ago, and now no-one is talking about the KnighRider show at all. I assume it was cancelled, right? How many episodes did they actually make? Surprise??? Craigo
Cancelled yes. I stomached one episode and that's all I could take. Not sure if it made it a whole season or not.

BIKEBOY
You guys are funny! I also recall seeing the 'actual' show car on E-Bay not too long ago...Anyone on that?
ShelbyEra08
I enjoyed the show, even though it wasnt good, still better than the Lame reality shows that the Major networks put on. For the episodes length, 17 to be exact, 18 if u want to count the "pre-series" made for TV movie
David Hawkins
Personally, I think the Show would have been a LOT better if the Car did not Morph.
richstang
I painfully watched it through all the episiodes aired. t started out pretty bad, and they tried to adjsut the story and character towrd the middle, then they tried to get a more gritty plot towards the last few episodes but it was to late and nobody was watching by then. +1 the morphng car was way over the top. It changed in a SuperDuty pick-up in one episode, a ford wagon in another, besides the overpumped up boy racer shelby version. Just too much in my opinion! 54LPony
+1 on the morphing. I thought it looked so much better before the morph. The CGI wasn't the greatest either. I think I did end up watching all of them though. Wasn't Val Kilmer the voice of KIT?

thewheelman
+1 on the morph, a little thin on plot, short on characters/actors, but the car scenes were great! Kind of like watching Bay Watch, if you woke up for the slo-mo beach running scene, you hadn't missed a lot more.......

ShelbyEra08
That's right, Val Kilmer was the voice of KITT. I forgot about that! The voice was actually supposed to be Will Arnett, but Will did/does voiceovers for GM commericals, and GM found out the car was a Ford, and they told Will not to do it. I did like the TV-Movie that was a "backdoor pilot" for the series, the big difference between the Backdoor Pilot and the Series quality was the guy in charge......for the movie a guy named Dave Andron and the Series guy was Gary Thompson..........Gary created the Fast and Furious series......I think if Dave did the Series it would of been much much better As for the "morphing" I like the morphing in the TV-Movie because KITT just stayed a Mustang, and the "Attack Mode" was way better
WildAzCat
They lost me once I saw it morph into a cargo van. I could stomach it morphing to an F150. The van just killed it for me.
