On this Christmas Eve morning, I received a call that one of my best friends was murdered last night at his shop while preparing our cars for the Shelby Bash , For those of you that know Joe Gosinski of Chicane Sport Tuning I am sure you will feel at least some of our pain. He was a good honest young man and my heart aches with this horrible thing that has happened. Life is short enough without assholes doing stupid shit like this. He will be missed by a lot of people. Always remember, friends are not easy to find so today as you read this, remember your friends and never forget those you've lost.

Joe, you have always been my best friend, I will miss you and remember you always

The investigators on the murder case have asked me to say nothing other than to say they are serious about findig who did this. Torrance PD is a great police force and many are my close friends. I am sure they will do their best to find the dirt eating dogs that did this.

I will let you all know what I can as the police say I can.

Thanks to all of you, I appreciate all the kind thoughts and understand the angry thoughts too. I have lost a lot of friends in my life from Vietnam and other circumstances but never have I felt a loss such as Joe leaving us.

Just saw this on the Channel 7 news.

The owner of a sports car customizing business was killed early Friday morning at his Torrance shop, police said.

Joseph Gosinski was found dead at Chicane Sport Tuning, 1908 Del Amo Blvd., shortly after authorities received a phone call at 1:15 a.m. about an injured man, said Torrance police Sgt. J. Hart.

Torrance police and the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office did not immediately report the cause of Gosinski's death, which was being investigated as a homicide, Hart said.

Anyone with information about Gosinski's death was urged to call Torrance police at (310) 618-5570.

It's impossible to believe that Joe is really gone. What a tragedy, what a great man he was. VERY smart, and VERY creative. The parts that he designed and was designing for Mustangs were and are incredible. He would give the shirt off his back if someone needed it; he was a very generous man. The wierd thing is that had I called him this morning to wish him a Merry Christmas and a happy new year, got his voice mail and left that message for him, then found out that he was gone just minutes later.

Rest in peace Joe, may God bless your soul for all eternity.

I am devasted to share with you that Joe Gosinski of Chicane Sports Tuning in Torrance, CA was murdered last night while closing up his shop. The details are still a mystery and Torrance Police are asking for assistance if anyone has any information that could help find the scum who could have done this. I personally have only known Joe for only a year and half but he has become a close friend. He was an artist and engineering problem solver whose energy and enthusiasm for our cars and sport are unmatched. He has been a force in the industry for many years having worked with Shelby, Sallen, Rousch, and many others. We have recently been working our cars in prep for the upcoming Shelby Bash where we had planned alot of fun playing with the many new upgrades Joe has made on mine, his, and his many friend's cars. I still cannot fathom that he is gone and that there is such evil in this world that could do such a thing. I and other friends will post info as it evolves. Please join me in praying for Joe, his family, and for our world.

Very sad indeed. I never met the man but it sounds like he had a passion for cars. We can only hope that whoever is responsible is quickly brought to justice and made to pay for such a thoughtless act. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. :salute:

I just spoke with Joe two days a go about a part he was making for my car. I recevied a call yesterday from a TS member telling me the terrible and shocking news. I cannot begin to understand why anyone would want to harm a passionate guy like Joe.

He always took the high road and stayed away from being negative.

You will be deeply missed my friend.

Wow.....Joe was a one of the most knowledgable passionate cars guys that I have ever had the pleasure to meet. I am shocked. I was at his shop having his tow hook installed the day after Thanksgiving and I asked him about leaving his shop wide open late into the night. His response was that he has never had a problem and that Torrance PD stop by occasionally to check on him. Unbelievable.....I think he was working on the 62 Tbird. Check his Facebook page. If there is a memorial service that his mustang friends have the opportunity to participate in I would be honored to attend.

RIP Joe

I am absolutely shocked by this... I've know Joe for over 15 years and he was a great friend. We would usually talk several times a week about stuff (Life, business, shop stuff, ideas, etc.. ) and I can't believe he's gone.... the last time I saw him was around August and I just spoke to him last Friday.....

Joe, RIP.... I hope they catch the SOB who did this to you.
