09 Red GT500
I'm not sure if this has been around for awhile and just not worked for me or if this is a new feature, but when I hover the mouse over a topic, it gives me a preview of the first post in the topic with tabs for first unread and last post. I definitely like this feature!!! Now if I could only set the default to first unread or last... Not complaining though, just a suggestion. twobjshelbys
I mentioned this too. I'd like to get rid of it.
Bob Kocon 2417
I'd like to know how to enable it. I don't have it.
twobjshelbys
I'd like to know how to enable it. I don't have it. Now it seems to have gone away. If I hover it just puts up "View Result" box.
robertlane
It's something new that I added today at 10:30-ish. If you are using an old version of I.E., it may not work. All Firefox versions are good.

It's distracting in that it appears very soon after moving over the link but takes a long time to go away. Like most things related to user interfaces, there are more opinions than people as to how it should work. Not sure if it is possible, but user configurable settings to 1) have the preview feature default to on/off, 2) default to first msg, first unread msg, or last msg in topic, and 3) set the time before the preview appears would make the preview feature much more usable. If it is possible for Robert to do this, it would make a great website even better!
robertlane
Sorry, Currently it cannot be selectively turned off and on. Will look into this though.

shelbymotorsports
I would love to have that feature. Every other board I'm on has it and it does make life easier. Rob I'm using IE8 and it doesn't work for me Steve
Son of GT
Yeah, it's funny...I use IE8 too and the topic preview only works if I... 1. Go into the main forums page, and.. 2. Select a forum, any forum, and... 3. Then whenever I hover over any sub-forum, I get a pop-up showing the last post (or is the 1st post, I don't really know) in that sub forum. The bottom line is that this feature does not work for me when I'm scanning the "new content" page.

Since I use "view new content" about 98% of the time I never saw this preview bubble. Now if Robert can find a way to have the preview bubble work when searching by "view new content"......
