judgeman6970
curious if anyone has any opinions on the "value" of these stripe-delete shelbys....I'm not talking about long-term/collector value(cause I know all new cars are depreciating assets), more curious about when its time to sell/trade-in after 3-5 years......is resale "affected" by the lack of the signature shelby look???? The only person that could make this determination would be the buyer. Some buyers may think it increases the value because of the lower production numbers while other buyers may think it decreases the cars value due to the reduced Shelby look of the car. justthebest
I'd have to agree with the eye of the beholder comment - if a buyer is set on stripes, then so it is. As far as dealer trades / sales, I think the dealership will try to make a point of it, but I wouldn't let them discount the car any more than the price of the stripes. shel-b001
I wouldn`t think it would make a lot difference in price either way. OMO
SVT NAJA
All things being equal, I don't think you'd see a difference between a Shelby with stripes or stripe delete, UNLESS the stripes have been painted and clear coated.

Torched10
well, the reason stripe delete cars are so few is that most buyers dont like that look---so bottom line is that youll have fewer buyers lookig for that car.I like the look myself, but having sold many muscle cars over the years, ive learned that red sells, whereas a rare green car wont,so i dont buy green cars--same with The Shelby regarding stripes id think.Enjoy the car,and if you cant sell it as is, add stripes
denohew
You can always put stripes on a stripe delete car. That's what I did, regards, denohew
Madlock
For what it may be worth, of the 4149 Coupes, 1568 were made without stripes. 363 of 949 Convertibles lacked them.
