I am going with these on the new rims

those might be on the skinny side IMO especially the fronts, these are 20x9 rims right? you may want to consider 255/35/20's for the front, they will be very close to the diameter of the 285/30's....

 

did they say that 295/30/20's for the back would rub?

I had 295/30/20's on CS40's that didn't rub.

I have the 255x35's in front and the 285x30's in back with the Nitto 555's. I have 9 '' rims in front and 10'' rims in back. These are 20'' CS 40 wheels with no rubbing issues. Go as wide as you can on the back as there is no such thing as to much traction on these cars, especially if supercharged.

The Eagle F1 Asymmetric is Goodyear's Max Performance Summer tire developed for modern high performance vehicles that are more advanced, intelligent and luxurious than ever before. However since these vehicles are also more powerful, faster and heavier, they require tires that can provide control without conceding comfort. The asymmetric in the Eagle F1 Asymmetric name describes both the tire's tread design and internal structure, both of which are designed to enhance performance in dry and wet conditions. Like all summer tires, the Eagle F1 Asymmetric is not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.

 

The tread uses Goodyear's Racing Compound Technology to combine carbon black for dry traction, silica for wet traction and a new generation of polymers to optimize tread stiffness. This compound is molded into an asymmetric tread design with wide, solid outboard shoulder blocks to increase cornering traction while a continuous center rib improves high speed stability and an open inboard tread pattern disperses water. Wide circumferential grooves also allow water to flow from between the tire footprint and road.

 

The internal structure of the Eagle F1 Asymmetric includes twin steel belts reinforced with three layers of spirally wrapped polyamide cord to enhance tread stability and high-speed capability. Goodyear Active Cornergrip Technology includes the addition of aramid reinforcement in the inboard sidewalls to provide a more even contact with the road for more even distribution of pressure across the whole contact patch when cornering.

 

El Eagle F1 Asymmetric de Goodyear pertenece a la categoría: Rendimiento Máximo Para Verano y fue desarrollado para vehículos modernos de gran desempeño, más inteligentes y lujosos, que modelos anteriores. Estos vehículos tienen mayor potencia, son más rápidos y pesados, por lo tanto necesitan neumáticos que ofrezcan control, sin renunciar al confort. La palabra Asymmetric en el nombre del Eagle F1, describe el diseño de la banda de rotación y su estructura interna; ambas contribuyen a mejorar el rendimiento sobre superficies secas y mojadas. La banda de rodamiento utiliza la tecnología Racing Compound de Goodyear, la cual, combina Carbón Negro, para mejor tracción sobre superficies secas, sílice para mayor tracción sobre mojado y una nueva generación de polímeros que optimizan la rigidez de la banda. Este compuesto de caucho es moldeado en una banda de rodamiento con diseño asimétrico con bloques anchos y sólidos en la parte exterior de los hombros que permiten mayor tracción al tomar curvas. Un segmento central continuo mejora la estabilidad a velocidades elevadas, mientras que, canales y ranuras circunferenciales en la parte interior dispersan el agua.

 

La estructura interna del Eagle F1 Asymmetric incluye correas gemelas de acero, reforzadas con tres capas de cordón de poliamida envuelto en espiral, para mejorar la estabilidad de la banda y su capacidad a velocidades elevadas. La tecnología Cornergrip de Goodyear, incluye el uso de refuerzos de aramid en la parte interna de los flancos, para proveer un contacto más parejo con la carretera y distribuir mayor presión sobre la huella al tomar curvas.
