Proper jack point

Recommended Posts

Where exactly is the jack point so the rockers will not be damaged or do I need to use a non rocker jack point?

Hi Tony,

I have attached a picture of my GT350 on a car rack at the Ford dealer. The master mechanic was very carful where he placed the car jack points, so as not to damage the rockers. I hope this helps. Hope you are enjoying your car as I am. They are great cars!post-28370-026747100 1292002996_thumb.jpg

I want my damn car!

Michael,

I got a call the other day from the Satellite Radio company, Sirius I believe, and they wanted to know how I liked my free 6 months of service and would I like to sign up for a subscription now that I've had a chance to try it out. I don't think the gal understood my burst of laughter.

She said she'd call back another time....

:banghead:

All I can do is look at the picture of my car buried at the back of the storage garage, untouched since it's arrival last June, and shake my head.

John

I would say the front points they have it on are the suspension & should be back just were the unibody has that piece coming across . Where is Grabber when you need him. Grabber has photo`s of a damaged suspension caused by lifting at that point.

Oh baby pictures! Now you must know me and my limited wrenching skills. Thank you.

Yes, I am enjoying the car - maybe even enough for Mike, Frank and a couple other waiters.

:salute:

Tony &Dubbs keep the pics and stories coming. I read and look at all of them. It helps those of us waiting and what to look out for down the road. I just can't be that far away. This is a busy month for me so it has occupied my mind. I found out that if I stay away from the weekly car shows it helps with the anxiety. Thanks again for insights on the car.
