XY GTHO Phase III
Just wanted to ask if anyone has had there tire (low pressure) warning light flash up on there dashboard. I took my GT500 out to drive to work today and after about a minute of driving this warning light appeared. I stopped at the nearest petrol station and checked it out. I pumped up the tire to 30-32 PSI (not sure what they should be) as they were all around approx 28 PSI. Anyway I drove to work and the light stayed on regardless and the tires have not lost any pressure. My guess it that its a faulty sensor. Has anyone had this happen to them? Was the car turned off when you put air in the tire? If not it may just need to be cycled by turning the car off then restart. I had to get mine re-calibrated at the tire store. Any tire store can reprogram your sensors, ford included. Hope this helps.

Yes the car was turned off when I put air in the tires. Funny thing is I drove home last night and the light was off then after a minute it came back on. By the end of the trip the warning light went off so I think I will just go to a tire store to get the sensors recalibrated, Thanks for your response mate. TexasShelby
Yeah, I'd get them to just redo it and see if that helps. I've had that happen out here where the temps go from 20's to 70's in a few hours, that morning it would go off, but the afternoon they were fine...go figure... Check the sticker inside the driver's door. Not sure about the '10s & '11s, but the '07-'09s called for 35psi.
XY GTHO Phase III
Check the sticker inside the driver's door. Not sure about the '10s & '11s, but the '07-'09s called for 35psi. Its a 09 of course, wouldn't touch a 10 or a 11. Thanks for the PSI info, if its 35 PSI is that cold or when the tires are warm and hot, Thanks Rob

Kyl
I think its pretty common, happened to my brother and I within a week of each other, It activates some where around 28psi. It will go away after you fill and wait a bit. as mentioned 07-09 35psi all around.
