vapor08GT500
I have changed several of the Hurst units out for the Shelby Shifter for customer's. Every one I have done this for loves it much better, as do I. Alex
grsybtch
I just consider the rattle an audible warning that I'm exceeding the legal speed limit!!!
sgt1020
Which shelby shifter are you guys referring to?
blueone
Which shelby shifter are you guys referring to? http://www.americanmuscle.com/shelby-5speed-0509gt.html MGW is a better choice in my opinion, at least for the 6060 anyway. I have one installed on a 6060 and it's way better than I remember the Hurst being on the 3650.
sgt1020
Is this shifter really that much better than the hurst? And how much of a pain in the ass is it to install??
ati
I had the Shelby shifter on my GT500 and didn't care for it, It felt to notchey. I replaced it with the FRPP (KR) shifter and couldn't be happier.
sgt1020
I like notchey :happy feet: gives it that race car feel.
csm198
I like notchey :happy feet: gives it that race car feel. Seems to be a pretty good project. Here is the link for the install. http://www.mustangmonthly.com/howto/mump_0910_shelby_short_throw_shifter_installation/index.html I bought the shifter months ago. Hope to install it in a few more months. The linkage adjustments look to be the most trouble. I hope i get it right. sgt1020
Nice looking shifter......I like the hurst though...... Idk we will see. Im saving up for an aluminum driveshaft, and an SC package at Shelby first.
slbgtsc
Went with the Steeda Tri-ax and love it. Not that big of a deal to install and adjust.
