Oh my.............

Wow.... heartbreaking... and,as usual, I hope the driver was as lucky as possible.

On another note, what does someone even DO with a car that's THAT FAR GONE? Who buys this?

Nothing that a little wax and elbow grease won't fix. :hysterical:

:rip: RIP 3879

My SGT just went up in value by 1/1000th of a percent. :shift:

I'm tempted to throw a couple hundred bucks at the car just so the CSM plaques don't reappear elsewhere.

I have walked many a wrecking yard in my time, hunting for that little odd piece...it is an ominous feeling looking at other peoples misfortune.

That car was going way too fast. I will bet last months paycheck that the car was in the hands of an unfamiliar driver. I will go one step further and bet another months paycheck that 'said' driver was in his teen years! Sorry...it just comes to mind.

My money says this car was on the track when this happened. If you look at the pics in the copart add, you will see a harness bar in whats left of the rear seat. I sure hope the driver was ok.

Chris

Yeah, i saw that too...

Hope you're right, then maybe a helmet was in the equation too...

I would agree with you on that Chris. That being said , it is worth at least $ 300.00 bucks because if you look carefully it appears to have a big brake package in the rear.

Just as many accidents happen with drivers who "know how to drive"...

That one was bad. There looked to be a roll bar? Good thing if there was - means they were taking some of the necessary precautions. :yup:

Is this the car that crashed on the Nevada open road race that was held the week before Barrett Jackson auction in September? I thought I'd heard that a SGT was a casualty. This car is in Nevada... I did hear the driver was beat up pretty bad but was at the recognition ceremony but never heard or saw anything else about it.

It looks like the CAI filter might be salvageable. Maybe some of the fuses.

Big brakes? Possible, but I doubt it with the stock wheels. More likely that the OE calipers where painted.

About all that this one is now useful for is lawn art.
