Sweet!!! Looks good Justin, rear looks alot better now. Ford just can't setup ride height correctly. Always been that way with the Mustang. How does it handle compared to the SVT-PP springs you had in there? You think handling is on par, better or worse. Just curious since all the rave about the PP cars.

The handling is now WAY BETTER than it was with the SVTPP stock setup. Turns on a dime...and it feels SOOOOO good due to the lower center of gravity. Night and day difference.

Springs only or did you get the dampers as well? I'm trying to decide if there is a performance benefit by adding just the springs. Looks good by the way...

I only got the springs this time. I had a 2010 and I got the entire FR3 kit. BIG WASTE OF MONEY. Just get the springs. I couldn't tell ANY DIFFERENCE FROM STOCK TO THE FR3 KIT. Again, BIG WASTE OF MONEY.

Did you check to see how much drop you got on the 11 model

I did not check to see the difference between stock and lowered this time...BUT I can tell you that it now sits EXACTLY the same height as my 2010 did with the same springs. Obviously, it was a smaller drop on this car than it was on the 2010...due to the lower SVTPP suspension.

Car looks good. I have had a bad week with mine. I have the same springs to put on this week with same wheels but, the rims got damaged in shipping and cruizin concepts says no more rims until January and now my fuel pump system went bad so maybe by January i will have mine done.

Car looks great, really like how the rear end sits over the tires. What did you end up doing with your 2010? I liked the black with silver stripes.

  • 4 months later...

I got the FRPP lowering springs finished this afternoon, so here's some pics. I think it looks pretty damn good.

Car looks great. Did I understand right your car is a 2011 Modell with SVT Performance Package?

I have also a 2011 vert with SVT PP and I am looking for lowering springs but I am not sure which are the right one for my 2011?!

Where did you get the springs? Which are the correct one for the 2011? Do you have you a partnumber?

My information is that the springs from the 2010 will not fit to the 2011 because Ford/SVT changed the front strut mounts http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=12451 and also the 2011 spring winding.

I found this lowering springs http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=9882 .

Are these the right one?

Will I need this parts too http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=12272 ?

Is there any incompatibility between the FR Springs and the SVT PP Dampers?

Thank you.
