ShelbyGTH-NL
Dear All, Like I said in this topic http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php?/topic/59846-verts/ I have a brake problem! It looks like my Brake rotor on right side (Passenger) is burnt in and is a bit crooked. It looks like i need some new rotors for the front but here is my question! I had a look on the invoice from Shelby to Hertz but it looks like the brakes are Ford standards! Is that true? I need some help on getting new rotors + pads! I have no intention to race with my car! I am think about a upgrades but i don't want to spend $800 on my brake because bear in mind that it needs to cross the Atlantic and get true Dutch customs! The dutch customs part s.....s off course with a 10% import fee and 19% tax on top of that! Sometimes I am jealous on you guys living in the US! Yes, they are stock Ford Mustang GT brakes, look on ebay, or a bone yard for the rotors and look for the pads at the shelby store, if you want to improve the braking maybe look to the GT500 Brembo upgrade, its a kit sold by Ford racing amd everything is included. http://www.fordracingparts.com/download/instructionsheets/FordInstShtM-2300-S.pdf
HARALD KELLEY
Other option is to by stock size rotors Bear makes some stock size cross drilled and slotted which allow the stock wheels. Little more look than stock. The Brembos will require wheel replacement.
ShelbyGTH-NL
Thanks for the info! I will look for the standard GT rotors! The Ford Racing looks nice but is a bit out of my price range! I looked at the pads at shelby but they are sold out!

SGT-C0056
I have an Automotive shop, if you send me your address I can see what shipping cost is. I can order the rotors and pads and sell them to you at my cost...which is very very cheap.
