2011 MY GT500 Dealer Order Status

I stopped by a local dealer today to inquire as to whether or not 2011's were still orderable, as there had been a drop-off to nil after last week of new units being invoiced. The vehicle order system indicated a "hold" was in effect.

Has anybody received any credible information about further 2011 production and whether or not Ford has decided to deviate (downward) from its original 5,500-unit limited production run?

The same thing happened around this time last year. There was about a 3 week period in which there were no 2010's produced. Production resumed around the beginning of December and continued for the final month and a half of the model year. Don't know if that's the same thing that's occurring now. I'm guessing that maybe they use this period to begin preparation at the factory for the transition to the following year.

As far as I know they halted production at 5500 units. I bought mine in Atlanta Georgia at Sandy Springs Ford. They had several left in October. They have a website. Just type in Sandy Springs Ford. Good luck

did they get you for the dealer adder??
