SVT NAJA
Post up if you're interested in a local Team Shelby pre-holiday cruise. Our planned route is a 50 mile run from Saratoga (starting at 10am) to Half Moon Bay following Hwy 9 to Hwy 35, to Hwy 84 (stopping at Alice's for a short break) down to Hwy 1 and north to the Half Moon Bay Brewing Company at the harbor for lunch. Cali_KR
Good idea Jim, I keep a heavy travel schedule during the winter for work, but I'm definately interested.
Brad Barnett
I know this is short notice, but I wanted to gauge interest in a local Team Shelby cruise before the holiday season gets underway and while our weather is still somewhat predictable here in the Bay Area (current 10 day forecast shows sun and 64 degrees). I was thinking of a 50 mile run from Saratoga (starting at 10am) to Half Moon Bay following Hwy 9 to Hwy 35, to Hwy 84 (stopping at Alice's for a short break) down to Hwy 1 and north to the Half Moon Bay Brewing Company at the harbor for lunch. This route has a great variety of curves, straightaways and elevation changes for spirited cruising. Thanks! Post up if you're interested and I'll put the details together. Jim I would probably be interested also. You always do a good job with you cruises. Just so its after Thanksgiving and a ways before Christmas. 08jester
I'd possibly be interested as well depending on when and weather. I am a "get the x-mas shopping done early" person. Don't handle the crowds very well. We are also thinking of getting the Shelby ready for Shelby Bash and loading her in the trailer. We are busy during the holiday's. Just so its after Thanksgiving and a ways before Christmas. Brad, does a week from this Saturday (11/20) work for you, or are you suggesting 2 weeks later on 12/4? I'd possibly be interested as well depending on when and weather. I am a "get the x-mas shopping done early" person. Don't handle the crowds very well. Aggie, does the 20th work for you, or were you thinking the 4th as well? I'm good with either one, but was thinking everyone gets busy from Thanksgiving on. Also, if the weather goes south and there is rain (or the threat of rain), the cruise is off anyway. Right now the 20th looks good though!
ceswert
I will be away on the weekend of the 20th. Anything before the week of 12/13 would work. If I don't catch you this time, I'll catch you the next time 'round. Thanks for setting this up!

Jim & I felt the 20th would be better because of the weather and after Thanksgiving people are usually pretty busy with the shopping. Weather is looking fantastic for the 20th. Jim is planning this, so it is up to him. Aggie

If we get rained out, we'll try again on Saturday December 4th! If anyone has a convenient South Bay meeting spot preference in or near Saratoga, I'm open to suggestions. Otherwise I'll pick a spot and post it next Wednesday. Thanks. Jim Post #1 updated
