Thor.
I'm working afternoons this week which allows me a window of opportunity in the late morning / early afternoon to take a ride. Today the weather was sunny and "warming up". When I left the pole barn, it was 50 F and there were traces of snow still in the ditches, but the roads were dry and the sun was shining. I took a ride along SW Michigan's Sunset Coast and enjoyed every minute of it. It eventually got as warm as 65 F, which was perfect in the sun. Lake Michigan was extremely calm and I even saw a boat head out for a cruise as I ate lunch in New Buffalo. When I got home I noticed that my neighbor still had a significant snow pile on his porch roof! The car is back snuggly in the pole barn and I go to work in less than an hour. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
SVTSnake
NICE!!! Enjoy and good luck tomorrow. Down here in Houston its year round driving weather, except I won't drive in rain. Been "caught" 3 times in rain.
11GT500AL
I'm headed to Destin, FL tomorrow (about a 2 hour drive from Gulf Shores, AL). I'm really looking forward to the drive... our forecast calls for sunny skies and temps in the mid-70's. I'll keep the top up in the morning, but will probably put it down for the ride back tomorrow afternoon.
