07SGT4578
Is anyone here running one of these on their cars? The early 2007 cars do not have a brace at all, later ones and 2008's do. I am thinking of adding one, anyone? Chris http://www.brenspeed.com/che7la.html
ilmor
Might be a good add for the increased torque of a SC car. It says it reduces missed shifts...are you having a problem w/ missed shifts?
07SGT4578
no, but when Jeff (SVOC) and I were installing my new clutch yesterday, we talked about it not having one so I figured I would ask all the professionals first. The only problem Im gonna have with the shifting is the stiff as hell clutch pedal and the fact that one calf will be larger than the other on my legs. 07-2937
I have one and other subframe connectors I think anything that stiffens up the front is a good thing plus I don't have the strut brace (sc'r).. All the convertibles have this brace!
ARMORINE
this is definitly interesting may be worth looking into.
kahmann
I have the Ford Racing brace. I noticed zero difference after installing it but I'll take the extra bracing either way.
07SGT4578
heres one that is already blue, will go with the rest of the suspension pieces on our cars. The price is right on this one too. http://www.granatellimotorsports.com/products/2005_2010_Mustang_A_Arm_Support_Brace-26-27.html

07SGT4578
yes it does. wonder if the torque limiters are worth the extra $100 on the CHE. I think I am leaning towards the Granatelli
FordFan1
I too installed the FRPP unit, but if I was to do it again I would go with this piece from Steeda even tho I hear it's a pain to install (right Larry) http://www.steeda.com/store/steeda-g-trac-brace-for-2005-and-up-ford-mustang.html "The stock front lower chassis has a cross brace but it is mounted to an unsupported flange. Our G-trac brace ties the rear mounts of the front lower control arms together to reduce flex at the mounts and make the front chassis stiffer." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The question is, which one to buy? http://www.buyfordracing.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=729cPath=26 Put the Ford racing one on the GT-H. Did have it powder coated blue to match the rest of the suspension. Not sure if it made any difference.
