ARMORINE
simple question, gt500 take off brakes on 18 x 9.5 cs56 rims. will they fit? i have two sets of rims(long story) one of each casting type(generation one and two rims*) my current rims are the generation ones. i know the generation two rims are supposedly machined for more brake clearance. i plan on using the gen 1 for track days and need to know if theyll clear the gt500 brakes. i've read a few places they wont and a few places they will. guess we need to clear this up so who's done it? *NOTE: generation two rims are easily identified by having "shelby" engraved into the lip of the rim or by having a machined areas behind the spokes. GT500-07
you will need spacers for the gen 1 CS56. I had a set on a 07-GT500. look on the 3rd or 4th page http://www.weldcraftwheels.com/index-6.html
