Wrecked 07 SGT at Sema

Recommended Posts

This car was in an booth of a auction company that was exhibiting at Sema and advertising this SGT that will be auctioned off in Sacramento this coming Nov 24.

The auction company is Insurance Auto Auctions and their weabsite is www.iaai.com

This was the only pic I took. This car is a salvage and the frame is twisted, large panel gaps on drivers side

* Unless already known, registrar needs to notate the registry*

The car came from the Sacramento area according to one of the booth personel, and it may be one of the "California Editions" as it had the center pod. SAI could confirm this

* SEE pic in post #17 **

Some of the cars are just sad to look at with the blood and all around the seats.

Those are SAD! I hope the owners are OK.

Notice the GT500 has less than 600 miles on it?

I built auction cars for several years. It is amazing to see cars that need a fender and headlight have salvage titles and cars burned to the ground with clean "blue" titles.

The KR shows an estimated repair cost of $29k. Guess the hood has issues.

I wish I could buy these cars to keep their parts from being put on clones or to make them into track cars. Think how cool it would be to have a KR as a dedicated track car.

Yeah..at least the KR had what 14K?

Still sad, and the ones with blood etc. were just not what you want to see happen to anyone.

I having been looking for the blood stained seats and could not find any of the ones that you listed that had blood in them.

Was it other cars that you had seen on that site that were bloody?

That GT500 is listed here in MN.

Sorry, yeah, it was other Mustangs not these ones. I was just flipping through the cars...some were bad. :-(

I don't know guys, something about this troubles me. It seems a bit cheezy to see someone's bad luck being promoted on such a stage as SEMA.

The insurance co. is trying to capitalize on the Shelby name in a twisted sorta way, if you ask me. :(

Ummmmm... SEMA is all about capitalizing on brand names! More importantly, it's all about doing everything you can to get the buyers into your booth so you can sell them whatever it is you have to sell.... lucky for most of us, T & A is what is capitalized on across the board there :happy feet:

The 1st White SGT and both GT500's will make great repairable cars. Especially the GT500's. They would both be easily fixed if someone knows what they are doing. They would be great street or track cars.
