Larry T
Not sure what he means by this but I have always liked a good mystery http://cgi.ebay.com/Hertz-Mustang-Shelby-Lucky-GT-H-06H0013-Special-History-/160501595680?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item255ea3fe20
QuickSilverShelby
Yeah, what's up with this ad anyway? You have to have money to burn to blow $199 on some "info". Why not just share this info here on this forum to further the history of the GT-H. So if anyone wants to ship me $200 I'll send them the weird and wonderful history of 07H490. Oy yeah, I forgot, I posted all the info here on the forums for all to see. Dang! QSS

gene64cobra
that car was for sale on ebay a few years ago. out of new york i believe. i called on it. it was in a magazine i think the guy rented it took it to a car show, hit a deer on the way home. i am sure it was that car because the unlucky number 13 stuck out. i am sure there is more to the story. lol who can remember. shelbymotorsports
While I'm certainly not a fan of this ebay seller and what he's doing I will say that 06GTH0013 has been registered in the Shelby American registry to an owner from New Jersey. CarFax shows 16 records available for this car. Perhaps the ebay seller is offering a copy of the Car & Driver article that talked about the deer incident. If the ebay seller is going to claim this was the first GTH that was wrecked I'd like to see the proof he has. Steve

Steve The NJ owner moved to Texas several years ago.....I dont know who the ebay seller is.....but my guess is its the first owner who sold to the NJ guy....or the original renter trying to cash in.......... and yes the car did win a trophy. then hit a deer on the way back to Hertz. Son of GT
Does anyone really care? That ad is just like those ads for books on "HOW TO BECOME A MILLIONARE". You buy the book for $19.95 and within the first 10 pages, the writer writes, "So you want to know how to become a millionare? Publish a book that tells people how to become a millionare." shelbymotorsports
You can save yourself $200.00 by reading the November 2006 Car & Driver article and viewing the vehicle report below.
shelbymotorsports
You can also save $40 by purchasing the September 2006 issue of Motor Trend, with the GTH on the cover, from other ebay sellers. Just do a search for 2006 Motor Trend and you can usually find the complete year for under $10. You can probably pick up Hertz ice scrappers for free from your local Hertz location. And never forget that color copiers do exist. They can "copy" all kinds of Hertz photo's. Not that any ebay sellers would sell you guys photo copies without disclosing that. I actually met the owner of #13 about 2 years ago at the Mustang Owners Club of Austin show and enjoyed hearing the story of lucky #13..... Additionally, he told me he owns another 06GTH and an 07GTH... Laurence
