Almarktool
From my previous posts you can tell I'm not sure what way to go, Looking for best handling drive and performance, Don't care about bigger brakes What would you do if you were going to do it all over again? Thanks Mark
jmn444
I would have maybe gone with 10.5" wide rears to get just a little more meat on them...
jmn444
You didn't mention appearance, so I'd go 18's in that case... I love my 20's though!
StrayShadow
20's are for show and the 18's are for go! I have both so I can show and go! I read in some mag, when they first designed the s197, that is was designed with & for 19's. Maybe wrong ... Im sure someone will correct me if I am. Take your pick ... but purchase to whatever your needs are. Kevin 07SGT2591

ilmor
I would go with the lightest weight 18" wheels I could afford for the best performance and handling. There's a reason Shelby chose 18's for the KR.
SGT0128
Can someone chime in with an 18 inch wheel size, offset and back spacing for maximum rubber on the ground with no rubbing.

JeffIsHereToo
For what it's worth, New Take Off has 2010 18" Chrome wheels on special set of 4 for $849 http://www.newtakeoff.com/2005-2010_Chrome_mustang_GT_5_Spoke_Silver_OEM_18_wheel-1.aspx
StrayShadow
Kevin, are your 18's factory or after market ? white size rubber are you running ? Mark The 18's are the originals and the 20's are Hyperblack CS40's. 20X9 F & 20X10 R. The 18's still have the original BFG rubber. The 20's have Goodyear F1 255/295 rubber. Jer
If I hadn't needed clearance for bigger brakes, I would've kept the originals... loved 'em! In fact, they're stacked up in my garage because I love them so much! Roger's got (I think) FR500 wheels on his, in 18"... they look great on an SGT. Now if I can only get him to put the damn stripes back on it! Jer

SGT-C0056
I have 18" on mine (18x9), the FR500 front and rear. Have the big brake kit, so I had to swap out my Shelby S1 (series one). Have a set with less than 2000 miles, $600 shipping included. Here is a pic of the wheels for sale (WHEELS ONLY) they have the TPMS bands installed, no sensor, you can switch the sensor.
