dffej51
I am a new member to Team Shelby and just signed up yesterday. I have a 2010 GT 500 with 1,800 miles on the odo. I occassionally like to participate in local car shows and will show the car with the hood open. As you all know, the air filter element is out in the open and gets dirty. Is there a way to clean that up for shows without replacing it with a new element? Thanks for your help.

I would buy a spare and use it only for the shows or buy a cleanable cotton filter. FRPP has one, AirRaid makes a direct fit, K&N says they have one that fits and there are others if you shop around. As far a cleaning, it is a paper filter and can't be cleaned. Amsoil and Ford Racing make dry filters that fit, but need to be snugged down 1 or 2 turns.
