ON THE KENNY BELL I WOULD HAVE TO NOTCH INSIDE MY HOOD ,HOW ABOUT THE OTHER DO YOU HAVE TO DO THE SAME, I DO NOT WAN'T TO LOWER THE ENGINE

SO KOTCHING THE HOOD IS BETTER, FOR THOSE WHO HAVE A KB SUPER CHARGER HAVE YOU HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM OR ANY SUPER CHARGER FOR THE GT 500

I have the stage III Kenne Bell 2.8L on my 09 gt500 with stock hood and did not lower the engine. I did have to notch the hood to clear the leading edge of the blower and the pulley. The install took about 10 hours total, most of it alone. The directions are great, Just read them all more than once before you start the project.

 

As for how I like it: IT IS GREAT !!!!

The KB really wakes the GT500 up. My 40th is all stock under the hood and has great acceleration like all the stock GT500's. As for my SS with the KB, that's a different story. When you push the long peddle on her, you better be holding on tight because she'll snap you back in your seat before you can say "Holy Sh##". Night and day.

I have a 08 with stage III KB 2.8

I chose to notch the hood rather than mess with the lowering of the motor.

Its a completely different animal now.

What everybody said on the KB......performance is like:....... WOW!!! With a couple of Holy ShXt!'s!!! thrown in for good measure.

 

Their customer support is great, very helpful, It is the most complete kit I've ever seen and the manual is extremely detailed and even humorous. The blower looks beautiful and makes a heluva sexy whine.
