2011 Blind Spot MIrrors

FYI, The 2011 Blind Spot mirriors are in fact a direct swap. Just be careful prying the old mirrors off or you might break the motor....I did on one :D

Pricing appears to be in the 85-100 dollar range for the pair of mirrors.

Don't the mirrors require additional sensors to be of any use?

These are just the mirrors that are now standard in the 2011 Mustang. The blind spot monitoring is something else, available on other Fords :)

I haven't checked so I'll ask, are these available at the part counter at Ford dealerships? I suppose that they are peel-and-stick type and would fit a 2010 GT500 also. I'll call a dealership in a few to answer my own question!!!

Standard part available at any Ford parts counter. I paid 95 out the door for my pair.

I put these on my 2010 GT500. They will work for any 2010 mustang though. They are not peel and stick, but more like pry and pray. The best advice is to turn the mirror all the way down and in. Then using a flathead screw drive release one of the tabs. Then the rest should pry out. Please wear gloves while doing this and shield your door with a towel. I followed the Ford book "Just pry" and I ended up breaking the driver side motor. :banghead: What they mean is release the first tab with a screwdriver and then pry.

To clarify, you only need the glass. I don't know the part number off the top of my head but if you pull up mirrors at Fordparts.com for a 2011 GT500 it's the callout number 17K707.

Driver side lists for $49.70 and the Passenger side is $58.42.
