saw this on the internet this afternoon. One of the Knight Rider "Shelby's" used in the short lived remake series of Knightrider is up for auction. Not sure if this is considered a "real" Shelby but it should be interesting to see what it goes for.

Article about car is below:

seem to recall it was a gt with a body kit

From their auction description:

The car, which began its life as a 4.0L V6, features many Shelby GT500KR parts including Brembo performance brakes, KR front bumper assembly, 20-inch Forged SVT wheels, front and rear spoilers with KR rear bumper cover, black KR stripe kit, and GT 500KR seats. Best of all, the car comes equipped with the signature red sweeping scanner lights mounted at the front of the hood. This Knight Rider Mustang was built by Cinema Vehicle Services and includes a certificate of authenticity.

I saw this car up close at Fabulous Fords

Knotts Berry Farm in April 08.........

It is a Mustang GT Automatic with Body kit to look like a KR.......

Actually looks "trashy" up close...........

Funny how they make it look and sound great in the movie.........
