One of the Knight Rider "Shelby's" used in the short lived remake series of Knightrider is up for auction. Not sure if this is considered a "real" Shelby but it should be interesting to see what it goes for. Best of all, the car comes equipped with the signature red sweeping scanner lights mounted at the front of the hood. It is a Mustang GT Automatic with Body kit to look like a KR....... Actually looks "trashy" up close........... Funny how they make it look and sound great in the movie......... DDT Posted October 19, 2010 Report Share Posted October 19, 2010 Look up on "Jay Leno's Garage" when he had both the KR and ATTACK MODE versions of KITT and the builder stated they were Mustang GTs............I know the one I saw had a 4.6v8.............. I tried to keep up with every little facet of the program before it came out. Then when I saw it.....I tried to forget everything I learned.
