2BIGFRED
After my SC install I cant get my clock set. I followed all the instructions from the manual but its like my clock buttons are locked. Plus my Nav system is showing New York and I live in Tennessee..lol.. Is there anything I can do to reset this?? By the way I love my SC!!!!!
shelbymotorsports
I never have had to set the time on my NAV unit. I'm guessing it gets the time from the sattelite signal. Try disconnecting the battery to see if you can get it to reset. Steve
JeffIsHereToo
Hummmm...did your car come with the Nav from the factory? This sounds like a few things I have seen on other cars: - bootleg DVD - disconnected antenna - in need of a reset - in need of reprogramming That said each of these usually have other symptoms or errors as well and you don't seem to have any which is rather puzzling. They would have added a new tune to your car but I've not seen that effect the Nav before. The electronics do send speed info but regardless it should at least know where it is! I would remove the DVD and turn the system off and back on. Then reinsert the DVD and let it reload. See if that helps or throws up any helpful error messages. Keep us posted! Interesting problem!
