Whose 40th is going?

If you r in Houston, give me a shout.

Good question Sherri......................Maybe we can get Sean or Patrick to give us a list of cars.

I know of a few cars that are going. SS, KR, SGT, GT500, Terlingua, Ford GT. A 40th and a GT350 would just about complete the set.

The 40th belongs to a guy from here in Texas named JT. He lives in the Temple/Kileen/Ft Hood area. He has 2 Super Snakes and the 40th. Since Dan is taking his SS, JT decided to bring his 40th.

Here is a breakdown of people and their cars:

Patrick & Rick (7ish) - 2008 GT500

Astrid & Cheyenne (14ish) 2008 Terlingua

Sean & Lauren 2012 E350 cargo van

Dan & Marji - 2007 SS

Ron & Helaina - 2008 SGT (vert)

JT & Iris Boyer and daughter Lindsey (19) - 2007 40th

*Anders & Charlotte Nannerup - 67 Trans Am replica probably

Michael & Dale - 2007 SGT

Thomas Dankel & Victoria (20ish?) - 2008 KR

*Dris Hammadi - 2008 GT500

Joeseph & Ellie Limongelli - 2005 Ford GT - sharing

Chris & Karen McGreggor - 2005 Ford GT - sharing

*Pierre Vangeenderhuysen - 2008 KR

Quentin Durward & Matt Durward (23) - 2008 KR

June 25 (the day we fly) can't get here soon enough. My daughter Victoria is 18, I see there'll be 19yo along as well. Thats perfect for when they get tired of us old folks talking about the cars every night...lol

Lucky for me Chris took a picture or two!

So, I am getting into this late, but I would love to participate. I am in Stuttgart, Germany and I have a 2010 GT500. I know of about 4-5 2010-2012 other GT500's here in Stuttgart also belonging to U.S. military and there are a couple of other models here belonging to U.S. and Germans. Sadly, I passed one a few months ago that had been hit by a semi that changed lanes into him, he is parting it out I hear.

I was looking for your itinerary, but the only part I saw was going to Nurburgring, eating lunch here Meilenwerk in Stuttgart, and then going down to Munich. On which of the 7 pages of posts is the itinerary, what does it take to participate in at least part of it, costs, etc?

There are a lot of Shelbys over at Shropp (the muscle car shop here). Gernans do love them!

Interestingly, I saw a 2012 Boss 302 for sale here at the Ford dealership for 60,000 euro, that is roughly $80,000+. I was having my Shelby repaired, poteniometer had issues in the throttle body. It was under warrantee luckily.

Hey RB, Welcome to TS!

You should send a message to Alberto (post #137), and see about joining his group for the day. It may be too late to join the entire group, and I'm not sure what the total cost is for European based drivers, but that question would need to be answered by Patrick (DutchGT500), send a message to him. As you are new to this forum, If you cursor over the name, a drop down will appears that says "send message"

Thanks Tom! I will do that. I was thinking about coming up to Nurburgring and then traveling to Stuttgart, on to Munich and then come back here. Too bad you won't be around Stuttgart on the 4th, there will a nice fireworks celebration and other festivities. There will be others at bases throughout Europe.

Alberto,

I am Paul. I am in Stuttgart and was inquiring about joining in on the run. I put in a request for information to Patrick about the possiblity of doing the whole run. But, if I do a partial, I was thinking about doing the day prior to Stuttgart, or starting at Nurburgring through to Munich. Any information would be great!

Thanks,

Paul
