TheRealOne
I recently bought these wheels and the only problem I have is the center cap options given. I don't like the one that Shelby sells because it seems a little clunky to me and I also don't like the logo. They are too expensive for something I don't like. Alcoa was no help. I tried doing a search but I came up empty. What other center caps have other members put on? I know the diameter of the hole is 2.5 inches. Does that mean I can put on any cap that measures 2.5? Here are pics of what they did on Knight Rider: http://forums.themustangsource.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=13704&c=634 I don't know if it was a straight fit or they did some modding to it. Here is another pic. I don't know what cap this is: http://www.mustangworld.com/ourpics/News/SMSshow10/pages/mustang_world_SOEC_038_JPG.htm Can someone please help me find another cap? GT500-07
the first pic looks like the standard SVT wheel cap the second pic looks like the standard wheel cap from the CS Wheel Co. http://www.cjponyparts.com/product.asp?pn=M1096N&bhcd2=1286976658 http://www.jegs.com/c/Wheels-Tires_Wheel-Center-Caps-and-Trim-Rings/10575/10002/-1 http://www.americanmuscle.com/capsnspiners.html
TheRealOne
It looks like the SVT cap fits. Late model restoration has that cap for like $28.00. If a standard 2.5 cap fits I could order the american muscle ones and get a decal made. I was hoping someone here tried other options. That Shelby one I just don't like. GT500-07
I took a set of the 2010 GT500 wheels with the standard SVT caps and replaced them with the FR caps from the 2004 wheel. There are 2.5".Give Tousley Ford (1-800-328-9552 ask for Steve or Kevin) a call, they sell all parts for 10% over cost and will look at the cap specs. I bought my FR caps from them and the looked at each wheel cap spec for me before I placed my order.
TheRealOne
I will. Getting an answer for these Alcoa has not been easy. Alcoa was no help and niether was Shelby but I bet that's because they they want to sell the ones they have.

I hear ya, put the chrome Razors on at the Mod Shop and wheel caps are the American Racing with the Shelby Tiffany Snake and the Snake on the newer Shelby's is the newer style Snake so would prefer to use the Blue CS logo but no clue if fits? TheRealOne
I wonder if that is what they did on the KR show car because the SVT caps are on there as well. I really don't want to go the Shelby route.

TheRealOne
I wish they came with the Alcoa cap. They come with none. I'll keep trying to see if there is other options. Alcoa stated that they don't see a reason why a 2.5 cap wouldn't fit.

kenmath23
I also purchased a set, and I purchased the center caps but I really wanted the older style of caps. I want the older black and red ones with the cobra and shelby across them. Anyone interested in an even trade when my caps come in?
Jer
Folks, no need to worry... When your wheels arrive, you'll be contacted... just tell the salesperson what caps you want. I've made more different Alcoa-compatible caps available than any time ever in HISTORY. We have GT500KR (for KR owners only), Tiffany snakes, the cartoon snake with the red "Shelby" lettering, the "CS" logo, etc etc etc... Jer
