GOTVENOMGT500
I'm no help in respect to seat options, but I am excited to hear/see pics of your project. Curious what type of cage you are after IE road racing, drag, street machine with a bad ass grabber blue painted "jungle gym" .

I think welded 6 point is what I want from reading other recommendations on the board...I guess diagonal bracing as well... I wanted a Griggs ST suspension to lighten the front end but my Mod guy is kinda poo-pooing that for me presently in favor of the FR3 handling pack.. baby steps, right? My CCW wheels are still being milled and waiting on tires presently... No engine mods...except for tune....keeping it stock.. 540HP around the track seems like plenty of power.. I've lost the rear end too many times as it is.... I put the 3.73 gears in the other day... WOW!!! I love'em... Dont know why Ford didnt do that from the beginning.. Im sure there is a reason... Added Lightweight rotors from Fult Tilt Boogie racing with their cooling ducts... I think Im removing the sub in the back and relocating the battery box..... I think that was it for my Fall list... M. Since you bought your rotors from FTB, speak to Bruce. He has tracked his 500 for years and has a great idea what works and what doesnt. Personally, I would skip past the FR3 stuff and go to the Griggs or an MM setup. The front eand is heavy and needs to be lightened to be effective on the road course. Cobra makes some decent seats but you didnt say what kind you were looking for. I have had two peice seats in a car but they broke due to the weak joints and stress put on them by tracking. One piece are a better choice. Cooling will be an issue!
