2BIGFRED
Roush sent me to this place for an upgrade on my roushcharger for more HP. I have emailed them but wanted to post a few things on here for some feedback. As you all can see in my pics I have a carbon fiber CAI with a 90mm Ford Racing air filter. The roush does not come with the CAI so you have to purchase one. My question is why could I not use what I have now? The replacements look like what I have now and they are all 90mm. Plus when I order this they say I need a handheld tuner for more HP well I have the one that came with the car so why could I not just and use my CAI I have now and my tuner and achieve the same results? I am bascially ordering things I already have. If I post pics of my tuner and maybe a better pic of my CAI do you guys think you may be able to answer those questions for me? This would leave me to just purchase the flash tune and different pully for my car. Im sorry for all the questions guys but I know you all are the experts and I need some help here

Im sorry for all the questions guys but I know you all are the experts and I need some help here ...nothing wrong with the CF 90mm MAF tube. ...if it's an FRPP ProCal (blue?) tuner it's not useable for adding a VMP tune. If it's an SCT (black w/orange/yellow face label), I'm sure VMP can e-mail you the upgraded tune you want with instructions on how to load it on the tuner, etc -- assuming you have a free slot on the tuner and it was originally 'married' to your present car. Then you can swap the stock tune back in, then swap it out for the new (email) tune you loaded on teh tuner. I'm sure there are others who have done this before, so ask away and others will be glad to help you, I'm sure. If not sure what tuner you have, yeah, post a pic for sure. -Dan

2007_Shelby_GT
I have the SCT tuner guys You did E-mail Justin Starkey? (Justin@vmptuning.com). I would think if you just give him the list of mods, he should be able to help you out and get you up and running. You may have to perform some data logging and have the tune tweeked after the initial tune. Sam
Lgs ShelbyGT
What everyone said...just getting the custom tune dialed in for the Roushcharger (probably a M-90) with the FRPP CAI Test drove a used '07 SGT with this exact setup last spring, which seemed to work just fine Good Luck & let us know how it turns out Larry
2BIGFRED
Well I am going to hold off on anything for a while unless its something I can do fast at the house. I just got my car and its been down for a week now getting the SC put on. All I want to do is drive my new Shelby.. I figure too with the SC and the Roush tune that should put a smile on my face for a while anyway.
