Snow Storm Packs A.........Shelby?

Absolute surprise…..with all this talk about quality holds, delay in shipments, and parts issues, I never thought I would get the call that I got today. My GO Vert was built on Friday, Feb 2nd and delivered today at noon. 11 days from build and this beautiful Shelby shows up in a nasty winter snow storm. Now granted, my dealer is located in Milford, MI, less than an hour from AAI, but given the stories that are going on other threads….that was quick. Sorry Grabber!! maybe this storm has another GO in it for you!!

My dealer, Hines Park Ford in Milford/New Hudson, MI deserves some serious recognition . This is a great store, class organization and committed to customer satisfaction. Without being prompted, the Business Mgr., Tom took it upon himself to go out in some lousy weather and shoot a dozen pics of my car on and being removed from the transport . I did sneak out of the office and spent a little time just admiring this Shelby that took 2 years to arrive. This is one great looking car…..menacing as hell.

Tomorrow I will take some pics for my insurance company and post in the evening.

I hope your wait is short and your enjoyment long….

Congratulations,

Thanks everyone…..it is a special car and for those of you still waiting, as said a thousand times, she is worth the wait!!!!

The delivery pics were taken by Tom at Hines Park Ford (a great guy!!) and the others today inside after she was cleaned up a little. Thought you would enjoy a picture of that real monster in the trunk....not much of a trunk anymore!!!

Thanks kstrong,

Red stitching on shift boot & wheel......thought it would be odd given the car is GO, but it looks fine. Its a Shelby, what could be bad!!!!

GrabborO,

I am glad your car has made it home safe a sound. She's a beauty for sure. The photos spiked my PSDS for a minute. Depending on the railroad strike....mine is suppose to ship next week. It is waiting for a rail car.
