07 SHELBY AZ
After nearly 2 years my GT 500 arrived 1-19-07. It is now parked next to it's little sister Shelby GT which arrived 2-5-07. Both are black coupes with silver/tungsten stripes...they look the same but are two very different cars. I have really enjoyed reading all the information on this site and it helped the time go by while I waited. Had fun yesterday taking both to a car show. People had lot's of questions..the most common was "why 2 of them?". My simple answer was "Because my wife let me!" It's a great thing to do to bring the family together, and in Arizona we have 365 days a year to drive and I will drive them!

When driving the Shelby GT can you really enjoy the ride without the Shelby's GT500 power difference, sure there both nice to drive but after 500+plus HP it must be a little wanting.......just thinking out loud.....I know after driving my Shelby it would be hard to run another mustang with less power and really enjoy it ....is the Shelby GT auto or 5speed ......both great looking cars ,your very lucky to have both .........enjoy...... GT is a 5-speed. Both car's fun to drive! GT looks meaner, sounds better and love the Hurst shifter...but the GT500's power is hard to beat. Hope to add the SAI supercharger to GT soon to even things up a little.

Since you are one of the only, maybe THE only person Ive seen on the site to have driven both, does the GT handle better than the GT500? Do you notice the weight diff in handling?
