JeffIsHereToo
Hey all! I'm considering going to the Bash again this year thought if there were others going as well from the Arkansas area (or in between), and driving, I would do the same. Anyone? If not might just fly again but would rather get my car back out there at least once!
07SGT4578
Jeff, It is a very looong drive. We have done it twice. The weather usually involves ice/snow from Amarillo, to just west of Flagstaff. Makes for one stressful drive. We will not be able to go to the Bash this year, wish we could, we would caravan with you. Chris

Papa2
I would love to drive, but there would be a lotta salt between here and Vegas. Maybe flying would be better.
sportscars
Jeff, head south a bit and hook up with us going out I-10 W.
07SGT0547
This will be the 4th year of driving out and towing my SGT behind me... Just need to plan ahead... I typically drive from KC to ABQ in one day (750 miles)... And then from ABQ direct into LSV (550 miles)... But if weather is a concern, then I highly recommend the I-10 route and avoid the mountains all together Drive Safe! Gregg 07SGT0547

If not might just fly again but would rather get my car back out there at least once! As mentioned, if you come catch I-20 you can swing over to I-10 west. We don't have quite the issues here. Cut over on 70 to 60 up to Vegas. Can stay here and rest up. I am about 350 miles away.
Arky51
Wish I could tag along with ya. No way I'm driving mine in snow.
JeffIsHereToo
Yeah, if I had a trailer like some of you I might consider it but otherwise I guess not. I wish the Bash was in a warmer time of year. I think there would be MUCH more participation. Looking at the events if you don't have a car there's not much to do. :-(
Sherri Leicht
You can do everything offered in a rental mustang. Track, cruises etc. I rent a vert every year :happy feet:
sportscars
My understanding is that they are trying to work a deal with Miller Motorsoprts to have some of the ex-Mustang Challange cars there to rent for the track days. Have not heard anything official however.
