vapor08GT500 Posted September 1, 2010 Report Share Posted September 1, 2010 As most of you probably have already seen, I have multiple sound clips from idle, take off, wide open throttle, and drive bys of my MMS mufflers on this site. I developed these mufflers originally with a redesigned baffle design and an extra baffle for GT 500's with long tube headers. I tried every one of the off the shelf mufflers and couldn't find anything that had a great sound with out being too loud, so I worked with MAC and developed my new mufflers which I call the MMS's which are only available through me, and are hand made, polished and TIG welded with a 4" rolled tip. They are a direct bolt on for any 05-10 Mustang. Little did I know, the Mustang GT gouys and glas started using these too and loved them too, even with headers too. I had sound clips for these mufflers for all combos with and without headers for GT500's, GT's, and SGT manual cars, but never an SGT Automatic, so here they are!! These mufflers pick up a minimum of 6 RWHP up to 18 RWHP depending on the cars mods. The standard SGT and GT-H mufflers were standard Ford mufflers with a nicer tip and really flow poorly. If you still have an original set that hasn't blown up yet, put them in the garage somewhere and hold on to them as they will soon enough. If anyone wants a set, I sell them for $599 shipped anywhere in the lower 48states. I have 20 sets at a time made for me and they sell fast. I have sold several hundred sets and have not had one complaint. I like how they fit nice and flat unlike the KR's which are round and would show below the rear diffuser. The tip is not as sexy as the stock sgt tip but the sound these mufflers make is pure music to my ears. :happy feet: Not many sgt's go to midas I see because when I pulled up jaws dropped. They took me in right away and took very good care of both of us. They were amazed that all of the suspension parts were standard with the sgt. I had three guys working on my car at one time or another. It was good to be king for a day. :happy feet: I guess I was in denial about our stock exhaust because I use to think it had a descent sound to it, well let me tell you....for axel back, you can't beat the sound these MMS/MAC mufflers put out., like night and day. Went to a car show today and my friends were very impressed with my new sound. One wants Mac to makea set for his 300 srt. I call the stock mufflers hybrids...you can barely hear them and they don' t flow well!! Thank you for the comments, and I can't wait to hear the sound clips!! I have been bugging MAC to make mufflers for other applications, but they are always so busy. To have the initial run of these mufflers made for me took over 6 months. Now that the design is perfected, I order 20 sets at a time and they take about a month to get. Hi Harald, Keep watching WIcked's build. We will get pictures of the muffler install and sound clips. I actually love the 4" plished rolled tips myslef and other seem to also as I have sold over 1000 sets of these with no complaints......
