Help finding a 2011 in Los Angeles

Hey guys,

I'm having trouble finding a 2011 GT500 in Los Angeles. Almost every dealer is out of stock. Galpin has a few, but not in the color scheme I want. Anyone know of any nearby? Preferably sterling grey or white/blue.

Thanks!

John

have a brand new 2011 Mustang G.T. sitting at SAI right now, in line for GT 350 conversion, that I have decided to sell - You can buy it with or without the GT 350 conversion package - It is sold on open MSO as it sits (unconverted).

MSRP $ 31,421.00

although im not a fan of the sales department, ken grody ford in buena park (orange county) has a good selection of 2011 shelby gt500s. i go there for the service department but sales associates are overwhelming and they do not negotiate well on prices

Galpin apparently sells a ton of GT500s and I have no idea how since their additional dealer mark ups are so crazy. Maybe they make people feel like they got a great deal when they get it near MSRP.

Yahoo autos is the best place to find GT500s. If a dealer gives you a spiel about rarity, point out the other ones that you found in your search.

Ford of Montebello near East LA has a gray stripe delete SVTPP. Last time I was there they also had a black one, a KR that has been sitting there for like two years, and a Roush or two. However - they play the ADM game also.

Search online for exactly the car you want then fly/drive there to pick it up and drive her home. Don't settle for less then you want (color, options etc) just because the car is close to home. Grab a bud and cannonball the girl back home. You'll have exactly what you want and a memory to boot. :happy feet:

Thank you for being honest and posting this. I really had a terrible experience with a GMC Service Center here in Oxnard, CA. The service was terrible especially after paying nearly $3,000.00 for repairs on head gasket replacements due to a faulty cooling system. I would have remained a GM customer just because I love the car, but seriously if I'm paying that much I should at least be treated like a valuable customer rather than ignored and waiting nearly two weeks to get my car fixed. I guess the phone is way too much of a modern invention for this GM Service Center. Just on this experience alone it caused me to stop looking at the Cadillac CTS-V series as prior to this experience I was shopping around. The sales department is horrible at Bunnin GMC too, no test drive of the CTS-V Coupe, it's a museum piece of course. Exactly how they treated it at the LA Autoshow, stupid. Jaguar will let me test their beautiful $80 to $90,000.00 cars and not be pushy at all. If I had the money in cash, I would have personally bought the Jag XFR Supercharged based on the shopping/browsing experience as I was impressed with both the car and the way they treated me as a customer. Hard to find that kind of experience. I'm curious if anybody has had any issues with Vista Ford in Oxnard, they seemed pretty good too. Not pushy at all.
