Why would anyone want to go to Mexico? It is out of control down there. I know most of it has to do with South America but DAAAAAMN.

I say we should build a Huge HUGE Shipping Canal between Mexico and Texas/California and NO Bridges.

Just one more incident that screams that we need to do A COMPLETE MILITARY LOCKDOWN OF OUR BORDERS WITH MEXICO.

Just my opinion of course.

I agree with locking down the boarders and taking care of the problems here in the US first. This would be a nice change instead of being the police to the world and offering handouts with money we don't have to every country that asks. Check out these folowing stats that are backed up with supporting facts:

A Real Eye Opener

WHY is the USA BANKRUPT?

Informative, and mind boggling!

You think the war in Iraq is costing us too much? Read this:

Boy, was I confused. I have been hammered with the propaganda that it is the Iraq war and the war on terror that is bankrupting us.

I now find that to be RIDICULOUS.

I hope the following 14 reasons are forwarded over and over again. I also have included the URL's for verification of all the following facts...

1. $11 Billion to $22 billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens each year by state governments.

Verify at: http://www.fairus.or...ssuecenters7fd8

2. $2.2 Billion dollars a year is spent on food assistance programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches for illegal aliens.

3. $2.5 Billion dollars a year is spent on Medicaid for illegal aliens.

4. $12 Billion dollars a year is spent on primary and secondary school education for children here illegally and they cannot speak a word of English!

5. $17 Billion dollars a year is spent for education for the American-born children of illegal aliens, known as anchor babies.

Verify at http://transcripts.c.../01/ldt.01.HTML

6. $3 Million Dollars a DAY is spent to incarcerate illegal aliens.

Verify at: http://transcripts.c.../01/ldt.01.HTML

7. 30% percent of all Federal Prison inmates are illegal aliens.

8. $90 Billion Dollars a year is spent on illegal aliens for Welfare & social services by the American taxpayers.

9. $200 Billion dollars a year in suppressed American wages are caused by the illegal aliens.

Verify at: http://transcripts.c.../01/ldt.01.HTML

10. The illegal aliens in the United States have a crime rate that's two and a half times that of white & black non-illegal aliens. In particular, their children, are going to make a huge additional crime problem in the US .

Verify at: http://transcripts.cnn..com/TRANscriptS/0606/12/ldt..01.HTML%C2%A0">http://transcripts.cnn..com/TRANscriptS/0606/12/ldt..01.HTML%C2%A0

13. In 2006 illegal aliens sent home $45 BILLION in remittances to their countries of origin.

The total cost is a whopping $ 338.3 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR AND IF YOU'RE LIKE ME HAVING TROUBLE UNDERSTANDING THIS AMOUNT OF MONEY; IT IS $338,300,000,000.00 WHICH WOULD BE ENOUGH TO STIMULATE THE ECONOMY FOR THE CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY.

Are we THAT stupid? YES, FOR LETTING THOSE IN THE U.S.CONGRESS GET AWAY WITH LETTING THIS HAPPEN YEAR AFTER YEAR!!!!!

If this doesn't bother you then just delete the message. If, on the other hand, it does raise the hair on the back of your neck, I hope you forward it to every legal resident in the United StatesAND PLEASE REMEMBER IT AT THE NEXT ELECTIONS!!!

We went to Cancun 2 years ago. The resort area seemed to be crime free but when you go to thc city of Cancun it is a different story. There were soldiers with automatic weapons walking the streets where the tourist traps are.

We took the hotel van trip to Chichen Itza. It as about a 3-hour ride on a well maintained highway. When we changed counties we had to go through a tollbooth. There were armed soldiers and Humvees with machine guns mounted on them along the road. The building at the tollbooth looked like a small army barracks.

Some poor guy in a car had been pulled over before we got there. They had everything out of the car and piled on the road. There were two German shepherds sniffing the stuff and the inside of the car. The guy looked like a tourist. They did not bother the busses or vans.

That was our first and last visit to Mexico.

More than 30,000 people (including women and children) have been murdered THIS YEAR in Mexican border towns by the drug cartels! The anti-drug mayor of a town near Matamoros was kidnapped from his home and killed last week.

This is all because of the United States' nice little drug habbit. I just love it when the pro-drug people say its a "victimless crime". Yeah, if we would just legalize it all these problems (read: murdered people) would go away. RIGHT!hysterical.gif

Our illustrious current crop of so-called leaders need to stop thinking about all of the "global" and "world" BS and get back to reality. The USA needs some serious help, and fast. Mexico relations is only one glaring example.

Our so called leaders need to stop thinking about how to get Re-Ellected two weeks after being Ellected.

I think there should be Term Limits, no more them 3 Terms. I also think that the Senet & House Reps Pay should be set at $50K a Year, thats $4,166.00 a Month. BUT, they get paid on their Approval Rating. If their Approval Rating is just 50%, then their monthly Pay is just $2,083.00.

Im nt pro drugs so much as a realist....if we legalized it, it would be taxed, destroy a black market, and move the processing and growing NORTH of the border, so there would be no drug "trafficing".

Cuidad Acuna across from Del Rio is seeing no violence at all...we do a lot of work near that area...Terlingua and Presidio is also very safe.

There are areas, pockets in some border towns that are ridiculously dangerous.

I agree about legalizing and taxing. It would help reduce the giant black market. Huge topic, illegal pot supports all kinds of crooks in all walks of life, these people don't want change and couldn't care less about anything other than making more TAX FREE money. Our leaders are aware and are not doing anything to change it. People that smoke mexican pot are supporting terrorism on U.S. soil, simple fact.
