shelbynuts
Grabber recommended it and I will start it! What does everyone else think? For those who have a signed car after it was ordered, where is the best place? I see some cars from Carol's place have plates that look like they are engraved with the car info and Carol's sig. Then some have the air bag cover done as well. I suppose the air bag place is the easiest to remove and send in? The wife and I want the 11 signed but haven't made up our mind. We better do it fast since the ship date is listed for Aug 27th! Pat

I got a carbon-fiber trunk panel and had that signed. It was signed with a paint marker and then I had it covered with 3M clear-bra to protect it from scratches and UV. David Hawkins
Regaurdless of what you have signed...........If it is not on the Car when he Signs it, besure to put a Piece of Blue Masking Tape at on the Part below where you want it Signed the words "Sign Here" and Arrows pointing up. Not that it is needed, but he usually has a lot of items to Sign and many Car Parts such as Air Bag Covers looks like they can be hard to tell which end is Up and if CS has a lot to Sign might Sign the Part up side down and not know it until it is time to install it. I have seen it done. The Blue Tape is just a Precaution. I have had MANY Many things Signed by CS and thats what I do with the Car Parts if I am sending them to him. springer
I had mine signed below the Shelby dash plate on the A/C vent bezel. I then made a cover for the signature from plexiglass as seen in the photo below, but I have since removed the plexiglass.
FordRocks1
Airbag cover or the sunvisor ate the easiest. Avoid the arm rest, it will most likely just rub off.
Shelby2809
+1 I have an airbag cover signed but never installed, I do have the Diver side sun visor signed and installed. At car shows I fold down the mirror for people to see. Good luck either way.

OMG...I would be REAL careful where you park that bad boy! You may want to put a "Protected by Smith & Wesson" decal in the back window!
JASPONY
OMG...I would be REAL careful where you park that bad boy! You may want to put a "Protected by Smith & Wesson" decal in the back window! It's actually my daily-driver...i'm actually suprised, no one messes with it and they seem to respect it for what it is. I'm am a little concerned though because I ended up buying my SGT because I got rear-ended in my '06 GT that I had ordered 8 months earlier. Long story short, $17k worth of damage and they wouldn't total it; i traded it on an hour after I got it back...it's the best thing that could have ever happened! jrzycobra
I'm having the passenger side head rest signed. The side that faces frontwards. I seldom have a passenger but in case I do I'm ordering a spare headrest so nobody's greasy hair gets on the signature. They swap out really easily. TRT 0403
Without a doubt, the best place to have your dashed signed by Carroll is Terlingua, Texas. Just not sure when he'll be there again :happy feet: If you don't believe me, ask Dave
