Torch Red Texan
I finally had time to get the windows tinted. Went down to Reed Auto Design in Mesquite. The price was ok, but I liked the life time warranty with the Llumar tint. It took a little over an hour. It looked great. While I was there I saw a Silver KR. The service advisor Jay said it was Randal Reed's new car. It had grey stripes instead of blue. The Rad guys replaced the blue ones since Randal did not like them. Our's were the only Shelbys but there were five Mustangs and a Maurader inside. Jay said they can do any work needed. The tint does help keep the inside cool in the hot Texas summer. zporta
it does help keep the heat down... esp when you have 5% all the way around and 45% on the windshield...

Life time warranty is the way to go. it does help keep the heat down... esp when you have 5% all the way around and 45% on the windshield... I'm sure the law is different in every state. I don't think its "legal" to tint a windshield in NJ, NY and CA. No matter the percent used. I could be wrong.

I didn't want holes in the front bumper. My last vehicle was tinted really help the interior temps and fading. I would like to get the Shelby done...some day. The cars look good tinted! skiph
Some level of tinting is legal in most states, refer to your local state laws for specifics. It's easy enough to google some that can be used as a used as a reference but of course check on your local laws as they can change. Oh, and not having a front plate is legal in states that don't have them. GA only has a back plate. I'm not even sure if I could get a front one..humm... well, who would want one if you don't HAVE to have one anyway. The tint does look awsome! SSSNAKE
"its not legal to go below 35% or not have a front license plate" Actually, it IS legal in the state of Maryland to go darker than 35% (with a doctors certification). "i figured as little as i drive the car i should be fine" I thought the same until IT happened.
