BAD SNAKE
This is for all the guys in Western WA. I took the car out today for a little spin with the new TVS and all I can say is WOW! Yes that was me.......The sonic boom you could hear from Seattle to south of Olympia.
BAD SNAKE
Or maybe it was the F-15's breaking the sound-barrier flying over the Puget Sound. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/38745115/ns/politics-white_house

SGT/SC2873
that's nothing....I heard it while in a meeting today in Charlotte! 20 some people hit the floor while I calmly sat in my chair. They asked wth was that? I calmly replied, "that's one of brothers or sisters in their Shelby, not get your azz off the floor and let's get this meeting over!" BAD SNAKE
It was very loud in Tacoma, gut shaking. The F-15's flew from Portland to Seattle in 10 minutes. How come it takes 45 minutes in a 737? http://www.oregonlive.com/portland/index.ssf/2010/08/oregon_air_guard_f-15s_go_supe.html

srv1090
Yeah saw that on the news. Kind of chuckled to myself, having grown up in the time when sonic booms were pretty common. It's something that once you hear it you know what it is, every time you hear it. The people on the news where all acting like it was so scary. I guess if it was the first time you heard one maybe it would be something that could scare you, but still the first one I heard it was wow what that it was cool. SVT NAJA
If you want loud... just ask any of the ranchers in the neighborhood of Area 51 about sonic booms when the Aurora is on approach.
