ASO544
Seem I read where Microsoft Sync will allow the Droid X to send and receive text messages and even verbally play them over the radio speaker. I only have a regular Droid and it will not allow this option so I might upgrade. Anyone have a Droid X or Driod 2 in use with their 2010/2011 GT500 and how does it work regarding text messages and Ford Sync?

Pretty cool and safe feature

Pretty cool and safe feature I can tell you really want it--but safer than not having a text/voice message as your driving--Cmon,really.Just my opinion

To each his own though!!! .......and yes I really want it!!!! : )

Can you try it and advise on how the verbal texting operates. Very curious about thus feature. Now if someone has a new Droid 2 and can try it I'm set!! Now if someone has a new Droid 2 and can try it I'm set!! Just updated to Android Version 2.1 on a HTC Hero (sprint) and the car display still says text messaging is unsupported. So I had no luck with this.
