Shelby Sequential TailLights

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I was looking to purchase the Shelby Sequential Tail Lights from Shelby Performance parts, and they have been out of stock for months. If anyone has any information as to where a set of Shelby Sequential Tail lights can be purchased I would greatly appreciate that. Also does Shelby Performance parts manufacture the Sequential Tail lights or are the manufactured by another company and Shelby sells them? I tried the CDC and I am not happy with the quality, on the set I have. Thanks in advance.

Bought mine from AM also, great service from those folks, and good merchandise too! Love the sequential tail lights. Some times I make my wife drive the Shelby home so I can follow and see them blink!

I bought mine in early '07 directly from web electronics, paid $119 and kept the OEM harness.

They were extremely helpful on the phone and very eager to help any way they could.

The part number back then was: STS-1MHR

I also purchased from AM, the best mod that you will never see but can tell that they are there by other people pointing at them :yup:

+1 on the best mod you will never see. People do point and stare at your a_ _ for sure!! Mine came from SilverHorse Racing, though. Quality is 2nd to none.

Was anyone able to purchase Shelby Performance Parts Sequential Tail Lights from Shelby? and if so are they manufactured from Shelby or another companys that Shelby sells?

Thanks again for the help.

You might want to search for some older threads on this topic, but I believe the Shelby sequentials are made by Web Electric?

Shelby ones are made by Classic Design Concepts. When I purchased mine in 2007 from SPP they came from CDC, and were in a CDC box and packaging.

I just talked to CDC on Monday and they said that they haven't been able to get them since February. Not sure what the holdup is, but sounds like a supplier issue for the CDC/'Shelby version.

What you want is the Perfect Flash model from www.theperfectflash.com or the SVTOA store or eBay. They work legally and are top quality thus the name Perfect Flash.

Forget CDC ...... most people are replacing the burned out CDC units with those from Perfect Flash. www.theperfectflash.com. Check them out.

I want a set but i'm finicky about the blinker sequence speed. I want a harness that doesn't blink too fast. If it matches the cars computer blinker speed, it's too fast with the 3 bulbs.

Can anyone here upload a video of them blinking?

Hey man, nice to meet you at Tasca! Click on the link in my signature. I got a video of mine blinking in there and I agree with you, I'm finicky about it and I think they're too fast. I'm hoping to find a way to slow them down a bit.

Edit: Mine are from MRT.

I have the Web Electrics and highly recommend them. I'll try to get a video of them up later today.

ok, after further review......there's nothing that can be done about the blinker speed because most manufactures use the cars computer blinker speed to control their modules. The only resort is to use an adjustable set. They tend to be more expensive.

With all the tunes out there, I can't believe no one can "crack" the computers blinker speed.

......[secondo], it was nice to meet you and Lori. Tell her me and my avatar said hello.
