kahmann
I just ordered a G2 caliper paint kit for my new Brembos, but I'm not sure what to use for the lettering and logo on the caliper. Do I try to mask the letters off somehow or do I fill them in with white paint afterwards? If the latter, what kind of paint do I use for that small section? motorjock205
Ken, you'd probably be better off trying to get a graphics shop to make you some new decals to go on there as that is all that they are in the first place. Trying to mask them off would be a PITA!!! Good luck and post pics! Carl P.S. Or you can always try EBAY...I've seen the decals on there too... tekheavy
Ken, I bought the caliper decals on ebay about a year ago. I never put them on. You can have them if you want.

tekheavy
Right on tek, thanks a lot man. I'll send you a PM Ken, the decals I have are Shelby decals not Brembo. Do you still want them?
kahmann
Ken, the decals I have are Shelby decals not Brembo. Do you still want them? No sir, those won't help me. Thanks anyway though. Guess I'll scope out eBay for some Brembo decals
Robert Wolf
I also ordered the G2 paint kit since that was the about the only way I could get the gold for my GT-H. So they make decals that stand up to the heat? If so I will have to look into getting some that say Shelby.
americaniron
When I repainted my Brembos, I went to this site and ordered their Brembo replacement decals. You can get them in any color. I painted mine Ford blue, and went with their silver decals. They have been on the car for a couple years now, and look like new. http://www.xenonmods.com/ Use their default size, and it will be the same as the original. Right on man that's exactly what I'm looking for. I just got a set of silver decals ordered up. They only sell in sets of 6, so if anyone else needs them, let me know. Thanks again. americaniron
Glad I could help. The only thing I could add is that you need to be careful with peeling back the decal when you apply it. Do it slow, and you souldn't have any problems.
shelbybev
I am about ready to paint my black 07 calipers G2 red to match fender stripes. Can you OR should you spray with clear coat heat proof spray. I might be putting the little white pony sticker on over the paint - then clear coat for protection and more gloss. kahmann
^If it's rated for the heat, I don't see why it would be a problem. I'd be interested in doing the same. What product are you thinking of using? By the way, my decals still haven't arrived.
