Jer
...or get the intake AND a blower like me. So you're doing that intake with a Paxton? I always hear about the Paxton (and most centrifugals) being a higher-RPM power adder, whereas I'm a low-end-torque kinda guy. I wonder if this combo will be strong power across the rev range? Gimme your theories, I need to learn! Jer
kahmann
If you're a low end torque kind of guy, then you want a Whipple or a KB, no doubt. However, the Paxton will make all sorts of power down low with the right supporting mods, just not as much as a roots style blower. It will certainly out perform any NA combination that you can come up with down low. But in general, you're right. A centri blower is built to peak in the high RPM range. You ought to be making all sorts of power between the Paxton and intake in no time!

I would of bought it the day he put it up for sale if I had the funds then. I can't believe it didn't sell before now. I think I'll owe him some future business for this one. I feel like I'm stealing it from the guy lol.
RACERX009
Love the #'s and the heat soaking is limited to the manifold, I knew ford would come out on top as always. But the cooler you can keep your engine the better it runs. This winter will be a nice hood with heat extractor vents and working vents on the fenders to push as much heat as possible. To bad they didn't do a run with UDP to see what number's kicked up plus a race tune.
