iceman
It's a good read and pretty realistic on the outcome.....they neglect to take into account that anyone taking the GT500 to the track will at the very least have a tune on it though and that throws everything out the window....also I think they are a little steep on the 75K to get one home number. That may have been very early on but now if you have 55-60K in your pocket I think you can get one with a little work. I got a vert out the door at 58K in Dec. http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Featu...rticleId=119426

They track tested a GT500 with a delaminated air filter. My feedback to them is go back test again with the new one. They already showed it made a difference in the dyno. Now the comparison between the cars is just stupid since the Shelby was handicapped.

chuckstang
Wow, what a shocker, did anybody really think a Stock GT500 stood a chance against a modded and blown GT? 9 times outa 10 any modded car will beat any stock car if done with any competance, especially when both are running power adders.
