2010KonaBlueGT
Does anyone have an update on the "2011 - version" of an authogaphed Shelby dash plaque to purchase? Thanks! They include the VIN (on a GT500) or the CSM (on a SS or GT350) so it'd be kind of useless to buy a *used* one, no? I'm still waiting for production to catch up to demand at Shelby so I can get one with MY VIN on it.. It *will* happen, it's just a matter of "when". Robert and Sharon have been working on this for a long time and we keep getting the "soon" response but cut 'em a break, it's not something within their control. I have a feeling with the GT350 using the same blank, demand is considerably greater than they originally anticipated. That and now a BUNCH of 2010 and 2011 Super Snakes seem to be getting produced. And they are NOT the same 1/8" thick aluminium plate that used to tuck between the center dash vents so it's not like they have a bunch of blank stock on hand. It's thick chunk of Al, flat on the top side and curved on the bottom to match the curve in the console where it meets the radio bezel. As a college major in Manufacturing Process I fully understand the added time/difficulty of producing the '10-'11 CONSOLE plaques so maybe that's why I'm being so much more understanding (and patient) than some other folks around here. I AM NOT PICKING ON ANYONE, I'm just sayin'...... Patience grasshopper, have patience. Yeah, I know it's speeled rong, so sue me! Like I said, I majored in Mfg. Process, NOT ENGLISH/GRAMMAR! <snerk> Phill Pollard - (waiting just like everyone else! LOL)

Talking about this one for the SS? I agree this plaque isn't as nicely intergrated into the interior as the 2007-2009 GT500's. Looking at the interior not sure where else to put it. BigDan
^ That looks alot better then the one I saw which didnt have sides and loose items could get lost or trapped behind the plaque.

Phil - be as patient as your heart so desires! And Kona? - who said anything about wanting a "used plaque?" Production of a 2011 is around half complete and still no dash plaque for a 2010 or 2011 model? Just was asking a question boys! And well within my rights, no?
