Front suspension chirp.

Took my car to get my first oil change and told them about the front suspension chirping. It's the most annoying thing in this car. The dealer didn't hear it! It's loud as hell, but they claim they didn't hear it with the chassis ears on. Does anyone have a soundfile of their Shelby front lca's chirping over sharp bumps?

Or have a better way that I can duplicate the problem foe the dealer? I assumed that it needed the tsb, but it's a month outside the affected shelbys

I just took mine in on Tuesday and took the tech for a drive. Mine makes a slight noise when turning hard right going slowly. Bumps don't really change it.

Of course we could barely hear it with him in the car but he did say he thought he heard something.

The tech took it in the shop and said he measured the ball joint size and did some other checks to see if the tsb that most people reference applied to my car and it seems to have the correct part. Mine was also built one month after the tsb ends. He did say he thinks it is the upper strut bushing and he ordered a new one for me. Should be in any day. Said it was about a two hour job under warranty.

My 2010 which was a December build, also has some front end noise when turning at slow speeds. If I hit a slight bump while turning it does make a louder metalic type noise also. Can you please help me with the tsb info. I thought Grabber had a TSB sticky somewhere but I cant find it. Thanks

I'm actually talking about a chirp that's not happening at slow speeds, or going up drive ways. In my case, it's going down any street. If I had a big bump, or pothole, it's chirps! I'm in LA, and going over a road called Laurel Canyon, which is full of bumps and potholes. Because it's a canyon road, and houses, and or the steep incline is on both sides of the windy road, the chirp echoes off of those surfaces, which makes it very loud and easy to hear.

Unfortunately, my dealer isn't near that road, so me taking them there to duplicate it is not ideal. I said i would try to record it. I thought maybe someone on the forum may have such recordings of theirs chirping over sharp bumps at a typical road speed. The chirp only happens in the front and not the rear. I asked them to measure the ball joints to see if they are the new ones, but I didn't get an answer.

Anyone with any files of the noise?
