It appears he crashed off the runway in his Beechcraft twin jet, and he was piloting. The footage I saw showed him quite bloody, but walking...

The whole tail section was broke off sitting there behind the wreckage...didnt look good, but at least he will be okay it looks like!

Wow, I cant beleive this hapened and no one posted this yet....I was falling asleep to the news and heard his name....unbeleivable...

This is his 2nd major one and he has survived both... hmm, you'd think he would get the message by now

This guy's luck is phenomenal. I heard the news yesterday that a lightweight aircraft crashed, but it didn't even cross my mind that it would be him again.

Edit - that was no lightweight after all!

+1........I know it must be fun to Fly and an ego boost to say you flew your own Plane to get there...........But as much Money as he makes, he should hire a Pilot full time.

Jack is an extremely accomplished pilot and flying is his passion. Suggesting that he should hire a pilot or should stop flying altogether would be the same as suggesting that one of us to hire a chauffeur to drive us around in our Shelby's or to park our cars and just look at them.

I'm happy to hear Jack walked away from this. If the opposite had occurred the Automotive world would have lost great man.

From what the witness said it sounds like he didn't have enough airspeed when he tried to initiate a go around and stalled or he got caught off guard with a crosswind. Glad he and his guest walked away and didn't go up in smoke if the jet fuel innited.

accomplished at flying, yes.....landing, not so much.

Any pilot will tell you a successful landing is actually an unsuccessful crash.... And a successful landing is any landing you can walk away from. Therefore, Jack wins! :hysterical:
