Captain Beyond
Has anyone installed the Super Snake carbon fiber front air splitter on their KR? Was there any drilling involved or did it mount using the original holes and hardware? I want to preserve my original and was thinking of getting one of these since they're only $500. I bought a factory plastic GT500 splitter, but I never installed it. I just think that carbon fiber would look better than plastic on these cars. 03 DSG Snake
From what I've seen, you need to drill your own holes for the SS Splitter. I am running this one, predrilled and easy to mount up: http://www.raceskinz.us.com/product_info.php?products_id=
Stalwart
I have seen the SS carbon fiber parts and I'm not impressed. I have the Raceskinz rear diffuser and it looks to have a much better layup and finish. I'm probably going to go the Raceskinz rockers and possibly their front splitter as well. DaveC keeps giving me hell for keeping the stock splitter on my car and I'm sure he's probably right, it's just a matter of time before an incident occurs. shelbypt
The 2008KR given to Carrol Shelby at the museum has the SS front splitter on it. Not sure about the drilling though. I would think that it is the same, but not sure.
