ewingfly
So I decided to up the boost on the shelby. After talking with Lidio at Alternative auto we decided on a 2.6 pulley, a C&L and a tune. With this being a daily driver I wanted a safe as possible tune. Now Im no expert on these things so maybe some of you who know what they are talking about can tell me how the dyno graph looks. Im very happy with way the car feels and service Lidio provided. He is an excellent guy to work with. I would recommend him to anyone. Any feedback is welcome
CobraKaz
So I decided to up the boost on the shelby. After talking with Lidio at Alternative auto we decided on just the C&L and a tune. With this being a daily driver I wanted a safe as possible tune. Now Im no expert on these things so maybe some of you who know what they are talking about can tell me how the dyno graph looks. Only difference is about 10 lbs of Torque .
Burning Blue Star IV
Great numbers IMO - that's quite a boost in power.
Wicked_SVT
Wow! Look how rich the stock tune is! There is probably good power to be had with just a tune alone. Good numbers. I have been thinking about doing this soon as well.
ewingfly
Also these numbers were on a 94 deg day. So Im sure on a cooler day these would be a little better

ewingfly
So you do or don't have a 2.6 on this car? I do. I dont know what I was typing in my original post. Must of been half asleep. Ha. But yes I do. I have edited now. Numbers I thought were maybe a little low but like I said I am very pleased with the way the car feels. Could I ask what they charged you? I called over to Livernoise and they want 1400 for the pulley, Idler, plugs before and after tune and installation. Did you get a programmer with it so you can put the stock tune back in it? Thanks, Im in Michigan as well and just getting my options together. I was referring to the baseline run when the car was stock. The factory tune AFR is very rich. I agree that 11.7 is good for a force induction car with a tune. With the factory programming being really rich, a tune alone would gain decent power.

Thanks, Im in Michigan as well and just getting my options together. Ya the throttle response is much better. I think it is more noticeable in the higher gears but it is much better throughout. And hooking up was already a problem with the tc off so now it is def worse, but much more fun! For the pulley, C&L, before and after tune, and xcal3 and install it was $1349. So yes you can change it back to stock whenever you wish. Now I dealt with Livernois before for my 2007 GT and they seemed fine. But the customer service I get from Lidio is great. He just made it feel much more personal. From what I've heard in terms of technical you cant go wrong with either, but people do have nicer things to say about Lidio and Alternative Auto. Im in Warren so if you are down by the woodward area cruisin let me know. I wouldnt mine showing you how it feels.
bpmurr
Now that you have the pulley swap I'm interested in how well your clutch holds up. Did you go with the stock look unit or the Metco?
