vapor08GT500
Looks great...Ford stopped painting the 8.8 rears in the Mustang in the 99 model year. The V6 models still get painted as they use the 7.5" rear which is used in the Ranger 4cyl model so they still get painted. Most of the cars we get at my shop we paint the rear ends in. I read your post on a vendor you dealt with too....sorry to hear about your terrible experience. Best of luck with your build. Alex

Grabber
Thanks guys! Grabber what type of finish did you use? Looking at yours let's me know I've got work to do! Great job I used a brush on sandable rust converter that turned black after it dried. I then sanded it and sprayed it with acrylic enamel made by Duplicolor. I thn used a small paint brush to touch up some areas I missed. The drive line came out for some service work so I did that piece while it was out. Recently I installed the new "KR Rear diff cover and touched things up again with a brush. This time I used some rustoleum for the touch up. I did use caliper paint on the brake calipers.
