I think the vendor should have been exposed immediately , all those in favor say I............

the vendor responsible according to Cobra Dee is Bangastang.com.

 

Be guided accordingly.!

Personally I see it differently. Cobra Dee asked for advice. He also offered to respond to anybody that sent a PM. I did so and he responded. Regrettably the subject was not B.S. A concern of two TS members that know the vendor,

and have had numerous conversations and business dealings with him, was to be given an opportunity to contact him and try to help resolve the issue before posting the company name. The vendor has had quite a few customers on this forum and has had an excellent reputation for customer service prior to this. It was his prior reputation that bought the 24 hours, again with the hope that it could be worked out for ALL customers before it really hit the fan.

 

Calls to his business phone go unanswered, e-mails are bounced back with 'office closed due to family emergency' and the hope was there could be resolution of some kind. The people that know him best have been unable to reach him and therefore Cobra Dee did provide the vendor name. Once again, he asked for advise and was asked for additional time to intercede by members that know the man and didn't understand how his business had taken this course.

Not quite. If he wanted input from members that knew the man then he should of used PM. It would not of been hard to determine who those people were by reading old threads. The purpose of his thread was to intimidate the guy into refunding his money...along with using other people's support here.(which he knew he would get)

Just a heads up to everyone. If this guy BANGASTANG is in trouble and scamming money from credit cards or debit cards I caution any past customers who used their CC to pay for their purchase to watch their account for any fraudulent charges from him.

You never know!

i agree with wicked shelby 100 percent. this was botched from the start. from the guy posting to locking the forum after the guy mentioned that it was bangastang. he put that at the end of a long paragraph. if you legitamally have a problem with a vendor try to work it out first, but dont post like cobra dee did and get everybody fired up.

IF YOU ARE GOING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT A COMPANY AND WARN US ABOUT THEM.....TELL US WHO THEY ARE, OTHERWISE KEEP IT TO YOURSELF.

Not sure I agree with how this whole thing was handled....I think Dee might have jumped the gun. My painted radiator cover came in last week from Bangastang after waiting 7 weeks...the real kicker is, it was the wrong color!! I will give Hendrix credit in that he did refund my money for the paint and was very professional and handled the problem promptly. Not sure we can pass judgement at this point until Hendrix can tell his side of the story or at least defend himself...maybe there truly is a family emergency and this business and lively hood are being trashed while he deals with whatever personal issue he might have.

 

The short of it is, wait for judgement until we have all the facts, never use a debit card and always have your parts painted locally!!! :doh::rant2::banghead::confused:

I also ordered a fays watts link from him and received it 3 weeks ago, Amex card, any purchase over 500 and I receive a call to verify, no problems, I think there may be some other problems we dont know about, Rick

I am going to wait and see what happens with bang a stang. If he gets it together I will be buying products from him. Let's give him a chance to try and get this figured out. I still feel the guy that did the original post didn't handle this well at all. Hope all of us learn a leson from it. I know I did

I am going to wait see what Hendrix has to say. I have spent many hours on the phone with him and he has always treated me well as well as all the people I know that have done business with him. Not one negative comment from anyone in the time I have known him until now. Just my opinion.

Steve from Bangastang is suppose to be at the SEMA CAR Show tomorrow in Pasadena, CA. If he does come, I will see what is happening with the company.

Tom please do check with Steve !! this is so out of character for him i been doing business with Hendrix for about a 1 1/2 years now he brought my radiator cover to the house just to check the fit of it . to me that doesn't sound like someone trying to scam someone
